2. Training objectives

General objectives: Training human resources at master’s level with high quality and in-depth understanding of mechatronics engineering;

Expand your understanding of the Mechatronics Engineering Technology industry;

Improve research capabilities in Mechatronics Engineering.

Specific objectives:

Update new technological knowledge about advanced mechatronics engineering worldwide while expanding and improving basic scientific and specialized knowledge to create highly qualified human resources;

Intensive training, equipping students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become mechatronics engineering experts, capable of exploiting and creating mechatronics devices and systems;

Training learners with basic practical skills, capable of working independently creatively and solving problems in the field of Mechatronics Engineering;

Train learners to have the ability to self-study to improve their professional qualifications to suit the dynamic and global integration-focused working environment and accumulate experience to become leaders and experts on mechatronics and automation engineering technology.

3. Admission information:

3.1 Administration mode: application assessment (According to the Regulations on annual university admission of the Ministry of Education and Training, guidelines of Vietnam National University Hanoi, and the yearly admission plan of the VNU University of Engineering and Technology).

3.2 Eligible candidates:

Vietnamese citizens who have graduated from university (bachelor/engineer) in a field suitable for the field of Mechatronics Engineering Technology with good grades or higher (according to the list stated in Section 3.3). In case candidates graduate from university with a lower-than-good grade, they need to have scientific publications (books, textbooks, articles published in specialized scientific journals or reports published in proceedings of specialized scientific conferences and seminars) related to the specialized field of mechatronics and automation engineering; Have foreign language ability at Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level foreign language competency framework used for Vietnam;

Foreign citizens are admitted according to regulations for foreigners studying at VNU.

Documentation requirements are according to the general regulations of VNU and specific regulations of the VNU University of Engineering and Technology.
